Tūī Talks | Daily Oral Language Slides (Years 0–3)

Tūī Talk Time is a daily speaking and listening routine for Years 0 to 3. Put a slide up and your class is straight into a quick talking challenge. Read the Room with Ruru | Social Skills and Discussion | Years 7-8 | Daily SEL Activities

Some of the most important skills we teach are the social ones. Reading a room, keeping your cool, owning a mistake, knowing when to speak up and when to let it go. Ideally these are learned at home, but the reality is that plenty of students reach Years 7 and 8 still finding them hard. This gives you a simple daily way to teach them well.
